This 3 day course for HR professionals, managers, key staff and business owners provides delegates with the skills to mediate a wide range of workplace disputes and also to use the mediator skills to prevent conflict situations from escalating. This course certifies mediators to mediate disputes within their organisation.

Online CPD Courses

Due to popular demand we have brought a range of short courses online. These range from 1 to 4 hours. We also offer a package of 6 hours of pre-recorded courses through which you can accrue your mediator CPD.

Introduction to Mediation

This online course is for those who want to find out what mediation is and what it offers. It is NOT for those who want to train as mediators. Perfect for those entering business, law and HR careers, and those who may need to use mediation to help to resolve a dispute.

Preparing for Mediation

• £200 + VAT
• 7 Hours (Over 1 Day)

Learn how to offer, prepare for and effectively represent clients at mediation. There will also be a round up of recent case law on mediation. The course will equip you to represent clients with confidence.

Transformative Mediation

• £250 + VAT
• 6 Hours (Over 1 Day)

This advanced course for qualified mediators covers the theory and practice principles of transformative mediation.

Online Mediation

• £200 + VAT
• 6 Hours (Over 1 Day)

This one day course is run in-person with delegates working from their own laptops. The tutors will assist delegates to understand how to confidently set up and run an online mediation.

Workplace and Employment

• £400 + VAT
• 8 Hours (Over 1 Day)

LSM's popular 8 hour workplace conversion course is for qualified civil/commercial mediators looking to develop critical, practical workplace and employment mediation skills. The course provides 6 CPD hours.

CPD Days

• £200 + VAT
• 6 Hours (Over 1 Day)

Mediators need CPD (Continuing Professional Development) for fluency and consolidation, but also skills development. This course offers your annual CPD requirement. We include new role plays, a news round up and a confidential case clinic providing a chance to raise and discuss your concerns with the group.

121 Reflective Practice

• £250 + VAT
• 1 Hour

One to one reflective practice sessions for mediators at all levels. Reflective practice is the best way to improve and develop your mediation skills and practice. This session is entirely confidential and focus on experiences from your practice that may have been surprising or unsettling, as well as identifying areas for individual development. The session will be arranged at a mutually convenient date and time and will take place online.
