Workplace and Employment Mediation

This 8 hour course is designed for qualified civil and commercial mediators who wish to acquire the additional skills needed for the challenges of modern workplace and employment mediation.  The course will provide the theory and process knowledge that is essential to those who wish to practice in this area.

The course provides 6 hours of mediation CPD and attendees will be qualified to practice as workplace mediators.

This 2 day workplace conversion course also provides 12 hours of mediation CPD 

The London School of Mediation presents a two day workshop for qualified civil and commercial mediators who wish to acquire the specialist skills needed for the challenges of modern workplace and employment mediation. Led by experts in the field, the course will provide the theory and practical knowledge that is essential to those who wish to practice in this area.

This course introduces the theory and practice principles of transformative mediation which is frequently used in workplace mediations. We will explore the goals, tools and role of the mediator in this unique form of mediation where the mediator helps the participants change the quality of their conflict interaction and the way they deal with conflict both in the present and in the future. The mediator role is a very different one to that of facilitative mediator.

Course leader: Susie Zaffran FCIPD 

The course includes a mix of theory, demonstration, discussion & practice through 4 role plays.

Attendance leads to the award of the LSM Workplace and Employment Certificate.

The course also carries 12 hours of mediation and professional CPD points.
